Installation and maintenance considerations

Before installation

Use the approved model-specific drawing and instructions. Confirm connections, flow direction, orientation, component weight and supports. Inspect the bore and any liner for damage before assembly.

During service

Record throughput, operating hours, conveyed tonnes, pressure behavior, noise changes, leakage and product quality. Inspect adjacent downstream pipe where wear may migrate.

At replacement

Photograph and identify the wear location before disposal. Record the reason for replacement and operating conditions. Comparing like-for-like service data strengthens the next selection.
