Define the required clean condition

A color change, allergen change and chemical batch change may require different levels of cleaning. State the acceptable residue and how it will be checked.

Review the internal geometry

Pockets, cavities, liner joints and connection steps can retain material. A design that uses a product cushion needs specific review where residual product matters.

Validate the installed process

Confirm whether cleaning is dry, wet or by removal. Check compatibility of every contact material and establish how the clean condition will be verified.
