Engineering Support for Pneumatic Conveying Bends

Review the complete engineering services content below. All specifications and product claims remain subject to approval before publication.

Application and Material Review

An appropriate conveying elbow starts with the bulk material and the actual operating duty. We review the material properties, conveying mode, line dimensions, current problems and expectations for wear, product quality, maintenance and cleaning. A preliminary enquiry may contain unknown fields; our task is to make those gaps explicit before finalizing a design.

Product Selection and Configuration

PneuBend’s initial product families include pocket elbows, continuous sweeps, segmented bends, basalt-lined bends, ceramic-lined bends and tungsten carbide hardfaced bends. Selection includes nominal size, actual pipe OD and bore, change in direction, approved radius or pocket envelope, base material and end connection. View product families.

Replacement and Retrofit Support

A replacement bend must fit the existing pipework and operating duty. Changing the geometry can alter the neighboring spool arrangement, support loads, clearance and product flow. We therefore review worn locations, connection dimensions, maintenance access and the conditions that caused the original failure. Replacement assessment.

Dimensional Drawing Review

The drawing package is central to order definition. For pocket castings, we check flange-face and centerline offsets; for smooth sweeps, angle, radius and tangents; for segmented bends, segment geometry; for lined bends, the finished bore and transition details. Model-specific approved drawings govern production and acceptance.

Custom Technical Enquiries

If an installation requires a radius, connection arrangement or operating condition outside the provisional catalog, describe the requirement. We can evaluate feasibility separately, but a nonstandard request is not automatically an offered or qualified product.

Request Engineering Support

Submit a material description, a process or route sketch, current elbow dimensions if known, and any observed wear or quality problem. Identify deadlines and required documentation so the scope can be agreed early. Contact us · Configure an RFQ.
